Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional dip: Ranch, marinara, or garlic aioli
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cauliflower
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Step 2: Add the Parmesan
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the cauliflower and toss again to coat. Make sure each floret is well covered for maximum flavor.
Step 3: Roast the Cauliflower
- Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure there’s space between the florets to help them roast evenly.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping the florets halfway through, until they are golden brown and tender-crisp.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
- Remove the cauliflower from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color and extra flavor.
- Serve warm with your favorite dip, if desired.
Notes
- Dry the Cauliflower: After washing, pat the florets dry to ensure they roast instead of steaming.
- Use Fresh Parmesan: Grated fresh Parmesan melts and crisps better than pre-packaged varieties.
- For Extra Crunch: Sprinkle a small amount of panko breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan over the florets before roasting.
