For the Pasta:
- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Season and Cook the Chicken
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the seasoned chicken. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
