- ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries (do not thaw if frozen)

- ½ cup blueberries
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Brownie Batter
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until combined.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in blueberries and chocolate chips.
Step 2: Bake the Brownies
- Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely before adding glaze.
Step 3: Make the Blueberry Glaze
- In a small saucepan, cook blueberries, powdered sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat until berries burst and release their juices.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Strain the glaze through a fine mesh sieve to remove skins for a smooth texture.
- Let the glaze cool slightly.
Step 4: Glaze & Serve
