Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Crostini
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Step 2: Make the Avocado Spread
- In a small bowl, mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Garlic Shrimp
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and remove from heat.
Step 4: Assemble the Crostini
- Spread a layer of mashed avocado onto each toasted baguette slice.
