Description

There’s something irresistibly tender and flavorful about Garlic Butter Boneless Turkey Breast that makes it a perfect choice for both special occasions and weeknight dinners. With its juicy meat and rich garlic butter glaze, this dish is an absolute show-stopper—without the stress of cooking a whole turkey!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 lb boneless turkey breast, thawed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a roasting pan or baking dish with olive oil.

Step 2: Prepare the Garlic Butter Mixture

  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic, thyme, rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Step 3: Season the Turkey Breast

  • Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  • Rub the olive oil over the turkey breast, then brush the garlic butter mixture generously over all sides of the turkey.

Step 4: Roast the Turkey Breast

  • Place the turkey breast in the prepared pan, skin-side up (if applicable).
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Baste the turkey with the pan juices halfway through cooking for extra moisture and flavor.

Step 5: Rest and Serve

  • Once cooked, remove the turkey breast from the oven and tent it with foil. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
  • Slice and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges for a zesty touch, if desired.

Notes

  • Don’t Skip the Resting Time: This ensures the turkey stays juicy and tender.
  • Use Fresh Herbs: If you have fresh thyme or rosemary, they’ll enhance the flavor even more.
  • Cook to Temperature: Always use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking the turkey.
