Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Meatballs
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, diced onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.
- Form the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and set aside.
Step 2: Optional Step – Brown the Meatballs
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly brown the meatballs on all sides. This step adds flavor but can be skipped to save time.
Step 3: Assemble in the Slow Cooker
- Place the sliced mushrooms and onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Arrange the meatballs on top.
