Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip the chicken pieces in the beaten egg, then coat them in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
Step 2: Fry the Chicken
- Heat about 2 inches of oil in a deep pan or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the coated chicken in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Step 3: Make the Bang Bang Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey, and lemon juice until smooth.
Step 4: Toss & Serve
- Toss the crispy chicken in the Bang Bang sauce until evenly coated.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Double Coat for Extra Crunch – Dip the chicken in the egg and flour mixture twice for extra crispiness.
- Keep Oil at the Right Temp – Too hot = burnt, too cold = greasy chicken. Aim for 350°F (175°C).
- Don’t Overcrowd the Pan – Fry in batches to keep the chicken crispy.
- Adjust the Heat – Add more or less Sriracha depending on your spice preference.
