Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tube (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or crescent roll dough)
- 6 oz Brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional, for crunch)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh rosemary or thyme, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Prep the Dough
- Separate the biscuit or crescent roll dough into individual pieces.
- Flatten each piece into a small circle (about 3 inches in diameter).
Step 3: Fill the Dough
- Place a cube of Brie in the center of each dough circle.
- Top with 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce and a sprinkle of nuts, if using.
Step 4: Form the Bombs
- Bring the edges of the dough up and over the filling, pinching to seal.
- Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 5: Add the Topping
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with honey and chopped herbs (if using).
- Brush the tops of the dough balls with the butter mixture.
Step 6: Bake
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown and puffed.
Step 7: Serve
- Let cool slightly before serving. These are best enjoyed warm while the cheese is gooey.
Notes
- Keep the Brie Cold: Chilled Brie is easier to cut and handle.
- Customize the Filling: Try adding a dollop of fig jam or apricot preserves for a different flavor.
- Don’t Overfill: Too much filling can make it harder to seal the dough.
